More Wonga Review Facts To Think About:
With Wonga.com, all you need to do is to simply drag a slider to determine the amount you want to borrow and over how many days. You can not fault Wonga as a quick UK payday loan company as they are doing things the right way, and even talking nicely to customers who struggle with repayments.
So really at the end of the day it all boils down to the customer, not Wonga.
Take a look at as many different payday lender companies as you can, but at least take a closer look at the Wonga payday loans because they do operate in an entirely different way to many others - i.e. they are workign hard with ethical organizations to adhere to a code of practice where they are sympathetic and handle peoples issues with dignity.
With Wonga, you can actually defer the full repayment three times once you reach the date you are supposed to repay the money. Click here to apply for a Wonga loan.
Is There Really A Wonga.com scam ?
No matter where you go, there will always be people who fall into disrepute with various companies, and because this industry is highly scrutinized, it only takes a few complaints and rants from disgruntled customers before the company begins to get a tarnished image. This is the same in any industry, however I can assure you, Wonga are out there leading the field.
Why would you trust this Wonga review above others?
While reading the other review websites it quickly became apparent that they were the best of the bunch. Not necessarily the cheapest, but in terms of value it’s hard to see others which are better, hence the need for this particular review.
When money is tight, we often wish we could access just a little extra money and this is when Wonga comes in really handy.
Remember the repayment though. As long as you repay on time (or early, then you will be just fine, and will even improve your trust rating with them. This helps if you ever need additional funds.
So if you do have any money on hand, then here at this Wonga review, we recommend you make a quick and easy payment to your remaining balance. You’ll be thankful for it down the line.
So if you are looking for for ways to get yourself an earlier than normal wage day advance then I can genuinely recommend you consider the facts in this Wonga review.
Questions To Ponder:
How many times can you defer your Wonga.com repayments?
(Hot tip!) A maximum of three times. Each time you’ll have to pay the interest accrued up to that point, plus a small fee. It’s a handy way to budget your repayments. If you want a night out with your friends, or to go for a meal with others, you can have the money in your bank in 15 minutes from now and go grab yourself some entertainment. It doesn’t get much better than this, rest assured.

Some Alternatives:
Wonga Vs Quickquid Vs Zopa
Quick quid, Zopa and Wonga are 3 different companies. You probably want to know which is the best, cheapest and fastest. Let’s try to answer as many of these questions as we can.
Customer service from Wonga:
Absolutely FABULOUS.. but only IF you go about it in the right manner. With wonga.com, if you genuinely need more time, or need to go on a payment plan after your three months have elapsed, and you contact them before your payment is due, and talk to them properly they will bend over backwards to help you. We tested this out on a loan we had and after three deferments we said we couldnt afford the full amount but were willing to deal with the situation. The lady was incredibly helpful and got us on a payment plan within 5 minutes. her tone was very very positive and helpful. No pressure or pushiness… whihc is GOOD in this current economic climate. To me, it says that they have got their fingers on the pulse and intend to stay in the game for the long term, as well as getting themselves a good reputation. I cannot recommend them highly enough, especially if you go about it in the right manner.
Quickquid customer service:
Not from personal experience, but Ive found many people are dissatisfied, although I guess once again that as long as you treat them with respect they are likely to do the same in return. When you are looking for quick quid vs wonga these finds are important, and sadly the majority of responses are from people who have had a bad time with them. That said though, a more detailed search online finds an equal number of satisfied customers, so again I feel that customer service is all down to how you approach them and are prepared to work with them. I imagine that both companies ahve to deal with hundreds of downright customers each day and towards the end of each day they might now be quite so polite
Customer service from Zopa:
Zopa are more of a marketplace, but have widely become voted as the most trusted personal loans provider for both 2010 and 2011 by the respected “Moneywise” organization. This means that a lot of people are happy with what is going on.
Payment times from Wonga:
15 minutes to 30 minutes! This is quite literally IMPRESSIVE. If you are just on the way to meeting friends in town you could head to wonga (or even on your mobile phone) and apply, and then nip to the bank to get your cash out. Crazy, but it works!
Payment times from Quick quid
1 hour funding quoted on their website. Good enough for most people, and shouldn’t ever really be a consideration, not unless you’ve got people knocking on your door for their money back, in which case Wonga would make more sense!
Payment times from Zopa
3-5 days, but remember this is totally unlike Wonga or Quick quid. In fact they are morelike regular loans as the repayment periods are longer.
Interest rates from Wonga
4214% representative (ie if taken over a whole year… not as relevant on very short term loans like these, but government regulations say APR’s have to be specified) For me, Wonga still offers unbeatable value. See this representative example:
Borrow £207 for 20 days. The total charge for credit is £47.42. (360% per annum (less than 1% per day!)). The Total Repayable is £254.42.
Interest rates from Quickquid
1734%, but remember that they also use credit reference agencies, so they are potentially cutting off a large number of customers who have bad credit ratings. Therefore there is no guarantee of success when you tru them out. See this representative example:
Borrow £50 for 30 days. The interest charge is £41.92. A transmission charge of £5.50 is also needed. The total charge for credit is £14.75. Interest is fixed at a rate of £14.75 per £50 loan (359% per annum, again less than 1% per day!). The Total Repayable is £64.75.
Interest rates from Zopa
Varies according to the lender, but these interest rates are way lower than a payday lender, typically around 6.8% to 8% per annum, depending on whether you are shooting for a 36 or 60 month repayment period. Make an application today (it leaves no footprint on your credit report!)
